what happens in summer is hard for me to describe.  it isn't difficult to explain, i just don't like to discuss it.  but presently, i am only just barely keeping my allergies (read: my tonsils) at bay.  i was feeling pretty frackin' great until like sunday night.  then it felt as if everything suddenly caught up with me in an alley and while my tonsils held me against a fence, everything else took turns are beating the shit out of me.

that said, i hope that the particularly insane abscessed tonsil situation i had in the summer of '05... does not revisit its madness upon me.  i need to get straight for a smattering of gigs this weekend.  a graduation party, a wedding, and Saje Sundays with the Mimetiks.  i'm quite upset by this. 

got to get this taken care of tomorrow.  basically.

presently, applying a frozen Corona to my face in order to ignore the pain for... moments at a time.

in the meantime, i am trying to remain upbeat.  sucking down halls.  trying to stay off the tylenol.  and listening to new music.  just got an email  today from a singer/songwriter going by the name of Reddi.  she's putting a band together for some set(s) at the end of july.  I told her to count me in.  Looks like were going to do some of her older stuff and some new tunes in a sort of soulful pop/rock vein.  i look forward.  feel free to check her stuff at:
